Live Fully — Terms of Service
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of Live Fully — the website at livefully.co.za, the web app, and any Android or iOS versions (together, "the App"). The App is operated by Live Fully (Pty) Ltd, a private company registered in South Africa ("Live Fully", "we", "us").
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Who can use the App
You must be 18 years or older to create an account or use the App. By using it, you confirm that you are. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its personal information.
3. Changes to the App and these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a meaningful change, we will tell you in the App or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the App after that date, the updated terms apply to you; if you do not accept them, you may close your account at any time.
The App is currently free. If we introduce paid features later, they will come with their own clearly stated terms, prices and cancellation rights, which you will see and accept before paying anything.
4. Your privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who processes it on our behalf, and how to access, correct or delete it. It forms part of these terms. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
We will only send you marketing messages or notifications if you have opted in, and you can switch them off in Settings at any time.
5. Your account
You can look around the App without an account. Saving favourites, choosing how the App looks and works for you, and sending feedback need one.
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us straight away at feedback@livefully.co.za if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- We never see or store your password; sign-in is handled by Google's Firebase Authentication.
- You may close your account at any time from Settings or by emailing us. We will then delete your personal information, except what the law requires us to keep.
6. Not medical advice — please read
Everything in the App — yoga classes, pilates, rebounding and nutrition links, articles, wellness product information, recipes and events — is general information. It is not medical, dietary or psychological advice, and it does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition.
Using the App does not create a doctor–patient or coach–client relationship with us.
Before starting any exercise programme, changing your diet, or using a wellness product, speak to your doctor — especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, take medication, or have an injury. You take part in exercise and events at your own risk.
Do not stop or change prescribed treatment because of anything in the App.
Wellness product information is provided as general product information. We make no health claims for any product, and any claims are the manufacturer's own. Product links open LifeWave's own website; anything you buy or sign up for there is between you and LifeWave, under their terms. Mayuri Govender is a LifeWave Independent Brand Partner. Product links open her LifeWave store, and she will earn a commission on purchases made there.
7. Events
The Events section lists events run by other people and sold through other websites, such as ticketing platforms and event organisers. We do not organise, host, sell tickets for, or take responsibility for any listed event.
- Event details and images come from the organiser or ticketing site. We refresh them daily but cannot guarantee they are complete, current or correct — dates, prices and venues change. Always confirm on the organiser's page before you book or travel.
- Tickets, entries, refunds and cancellations are between you and the organiser or ticketing site, under their terms.
- Your safety and conduct at any event are your own responsibility and the organiser's.
- If you are an organiser or rights holder and want an event or image removed, email feedback@livefully.co.za and we will take it down promptly.
8. Other websites and content
The App links to websites and services we do not control, including YouTube, event platforms, nutrition resources, product sites and YouVersion's Verse of the Day. Opening a link takes you to that site, under its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for its content, availability or practices, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on that site.
Some videos in the App, such as the daily yoga class, are shown through YouTube and use YouTube API Services. By using the App, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
9. Our intellectual property
The Live Fully name, the LL monogram, the Live Fully logo and its artwork, the App's design, and the text, videos, programmes and pictures we create belong to Live Fully (Pty) Ltd. Content from other people — event posters, product images, scripture, partner articles and newsletters, linked videos — belongs to its owners.
Live Fully™ and the Live Fully logo, used together, are the subject of a trade mark application by Live Fully (Pty) Ltd. You may not use them, or anything confusingly similar, without our written permission.
We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own non-commercial purposes. You may share links to the App. You may not copy, republish, sell or build on our content or branding without our written permission.
10. What you may not do
When using the App, you agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically copy content or data from the App, or use bots or automated tools to access it (public search engines indexing our public pages are the exception).
- Try to get into accounts, databases or parts of the App you are not authorised to use, or test, probe or overload our systems.
- Copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the App, or use it to build a competing product.
- Upload or send anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or infringing someone else's rights, or any malware.
- Use the App to send spam or unsolicited advertising.
- Impersonate anyone, or create an account for someone else without their permission.
- Use the App in any way that breaks South African law.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
11. Feedback and anything you send us
If you send us feedback, suggestions or improvement ideas through the App or by email, you confirm it is yours to share. You let us use it, free of charge, to improve the App, without owing you anything for it. We will not publish your name with it without asking.
We may remove anything you submit that breaks section 10.
12. The App is provided "as is"
We work hard to keep the App accurate and available, but we provide it as is and as available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its information — including event details and third-party content — is always complete or current.
13. Limits on our liability — please read
To the extent South African law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from:
- your use of, or inability to use, the App;
- acting on any information in the App, including exercise, nutrition or wellness content;
- any event listed in the App, or any website, product or service we link to;
- indirect or consequential loss, such as lost income or data.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for our gross negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be excluded, and nothing takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or POPIA.
14. Your responsibility to us
If you break these terms or the law while using the App, and someone brings a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and legal costs, to the extent the law allows.
15. Ending your use of the App
You may stop using the App and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to for legal reasons. Where we can, we will tell you why first.
We may also close the App altogether. If we do, we will give reasonable notice and delete personal information we no longer need.
Sections 6, 9, 12, 13, 14 and 17 continue to apply after your account closes.
16. Messages from us
You agree that we may send you notices about your account and these terms electronically, in the App or by email, and that these count as "in writing" under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002.
A newsletter is coming soon. When it starts, it will go only to people who switch it on, every issue will have a link to unsubscribe in one tap, and we will update these terms first.
17. South African law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute goes to the South African courts with jurisdiction. Before going to court, please contact us first — most problems can be sorted out by email.
18. General
These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the App. If a court finds any part invalid, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to someone who takes over the App, and will tell you if we do.
